La Grande Croix

Anjou Blanc

Coming from a largely schistous terroir, the Angevin vineyard saw its reputation confirmed in the 16th century thanks to its production of excellent Anjou Blanc.... La Grande Croix is harvested from our best plots of land in the appellation.

Winemaking

Manual harvest with selective sorting. 

Aging in oak casks (100% French oak) for 12 months.

Tasting

Bright pale yellow colour with gold and white highlights. Expressive nose, white fruits - vanilla notes. 

Aging: 5 to 6 years.

 

Serving temperature: 8-10°C.

  • Pan-fried scallops

  • Lobsters

  • Pike perch with white butter
